in my opinion. Sonys seem to be the most reliable out of the group. the sony will most likely last you the longest out of the group. :)

We purchased a VIZIO 32" 720 HDTV, model number VW32L about a year ago for $389 at Costco (it was a great deal then). This was our first HDTV and it's used alot. I can tell you that I still consider it be a tremendous value to this day because the picture is awesome and the audio is fairly decent. Ours doesn't have the 'features' some of the more expensive TVs do...it's very basic, in fact...but that suits us just fine. It's been a great TV and it was a great value, to boot! The only experience with Samsung we have is a 20" CRT TV that we've owned for something like 15 years...maybe more. I remember thinking "Samsung...must be cheap"...but that was totally wrong...that little TV is still being used by my son and still has a wonderful picture. I'd buy Samsung again in a minute. Sony...we've had two large CRT TVs and a Vaio laptop that all lasted well beyond their expected life cycle (the laptop is just now going downhill after 10 years of hard use!!). Can't go wrong with any of your choices...the question really is for you...do you NEED the extra features and slightly better performance you'll get out of the Samsung or the Sony? Our answer was 'no' and the VIZIO has been awesome. Hope this helps!
