I have a Dual Dishnetwork receiver, and the main receiver is in one room and the 2nd TV is hanging in the Master Bedroom. The only thing connecting the Master Bedroom TV to get satalite is a coax cable. Which TV Plasma (42) or LCD (40) will get me the best picture?

Since HDTVs are optimized for hd content, upgrading to the HD package is what you will want in order to get the best picture.
I recommend a 40 Sony XBR Bravia, or a 42″ Pioneer plasma or Panasonic Plasma.
