Lease ended and my sketchy roommate stole my 42″ lcd tv, 3 of my ipods, my other smaller tv, my dvd player and some other stuff. He moved 3 states away, changed his phone #, and deleted his facebook. If i press charges….can they even get a warrant to search his house if he’s in another state? How can i prove he did it if there are no witnesses?
Well have you filed a police report? if no, then you should do so unless this happened a long time ago. Possibly if the $ amount meets criteria then the police would consider this a robbery (or…). So your first step is to call the police.
Or they may say take him to small claims court and then ask the clerk how to go about it if the person is out of state.

Go to his new house, make a video of you banging his girlfriend on his own bed, burn a DVD of the video, and play it on the 42″ TV when he comes home.
