Samsung makes some of the best LCDs out there. That is why when Sony was in trouble with their TV business they went to Samsung for help.
Samsung and Sony joined forces to produce LCD Tvs in the same factory.
The Factory is in Korea and the partnership has helped Sony tremendously. It Proved that Samsung is a leader in LCD TV.
Samsung also makes more TV in the same size to target everyones needs. They have 6 models in the 32 inch range
And they do vary in technology and not just color or aestetics like some other companies do.
I purchased a Samsung 32″ LCD tv and it is great. No problems, and as good or better picture than a Sony. If purchasing an lcd, I would recommend either Samsung or Hitachi. I have a 51″ Hitachi LCD, and it’s picture is slightly sharper than the Samsung when viewing in HD, but both have good quality. Sony tv’s have Hitachi components, you are just paying for a name.
i think samsung makes good televisions…. i now have a samsung 19″ lcd monitor and my sister has a hp 19″ lcd monitor… i compared both of them and my samsung monitor has better color… it’s more lively and brighter than the hp.
