This makes no sense. VGA cables are all the same and the ports are standard. However, your TV and monitor have different resolutions. Simply reboot the PC while the TV is on and try a resolution like 1365×720.

i cannot find anywhere a 32″ 1080p tv! the smallest seems to be 37″ which is too big. does anyone know where i can find one? budget not really a problem as long as the spec is right. (1080p for definate)
