I Have A 3 Y/o 52″ Toshiba That Says Hdtv Monitor But Not Hd Ready. Does That Matter? I Want To Upgrade?

I want to upgrade from regular to HD and my tv says HDTV Monitor. Does that mean is all I need is a new dish and HD receiver from the satilite company or do I need more products/installation? What’s the difference between HDTV and HDTV Ready? Anything?

Yes. Just buy an HD antenna to get those free HD broadcast in your area.
Or you can buy a blu-ray or HD DVD players. You can also upgrade your regular cable box to an HD one.
