Depends on where you put the TV. Plasma reflects the light so if you have a window behind your couch..ect, it will reflect on the TV screen. LCD does not. That is why I bought the LCD. Quality wise they are fairly similar.

I was at a store where they had an analog signal playing over 42″ LCD HDTVs. The picture was horribly pixelated (the Westinghouse TV wasn’t as bad, but the Phillips TVs were). Is there a way to avoid this? I still watch some analog channels and that could get annoying.
