    For the cost of shipping it it might be better to get one there. A UK TV won’t receive the sound in NZ although you will get a picture on analogue TV (while it lasts). If there is an inbuilt DTT (Digital Terrestrial) tuner it “may” work, it’s unclear if NZ is using the European DTT standard as they have a scheme which certifies Freeview boxes (“from worldwide sources”) for use on their system. Boxes such as cable, dvd, satellite etc connected via Scart/HDMI or s-vhs should work ok but not if connected via the UHF connector because once again you won’t get any sound.
